Belle was a fairly well adjusted teenager. She didn’t have too many problems, friendly, easy to get along with, and she stood strongly by someone once she considered them a friend. Her group of friends had been the same since she was in elementary school, since living in New Haven meant that you went to school with basically the same people all your life. She’d known her boyfriend Archer since they were little kids, and they’d been dating since junior high school. They were the perfect couple- until their junior year.

When Archer turned seventeen, he decided that he wanted to take their relationship one step further. He waited until their anniversary, taking Belle out to a romantic dinner, followed up by a walk in the park, and an evening spent at his place, his parents out of town. Bringing out the wine he knew his parents kept hidden, he poured some for them both, and waited until Belle had drank several glasses before asking her to have sex. He had been so eager, so sure that she would agree and they would have sex for the first time- that he couldn’t believe it when Belle said no.

Belle was highly upset, and not drunk enough to miss what he had been trying to do. She immediately pulled away and tried to leave- but her refusal had angered her long time boyfriend. When she tried to explain that she wasn’t ready to give up her virginity yet, Archer went off. He ranted about how he had wanted to have sex long before then, how he had wanted her to be his first once upon a time… but she had teased him, put him off, and he had long since lost his own virginity. Archer yelled at Belle, telling her about all the other girls he had been forced to have sex with, because she denied him, and now, she was doing it again. In a rage, Archer attacked Belle, pinning her down and tearing off her clothing, taking her virginity forcefully while screaming that after this, he was through with her. There were prettier girls out there, better looking girls who would gladly fuck him, and after tonight, Belle was nothing to him. When he finished, Archer returned her clothing to her and kicked her out.

After that day, Belle was broken on the inside. She managed to make it to her best friend’s house, Anna, and begged her to help. Anna wanted to call the police, but Belle refused, making her friend vow to stay silent. Grudgingly, Anna agreed and helped fix Belle up. She watched as Belle seemed to go on with her life on the outside, not letting anyone see what had happened, or the pain she felt.

In private, Belle began to wonder if Archer had been telling the truth, even as she tried not to think about it. She started to put on weight… at least, in her eyes she did. Every time she looked in the mirror, she looked bigger, fatter. In efforts to console herself, she would lock herself in her room and gorge on sweets, chocolates, anything to make herself feel better- but it never helped. Instead, she only felt fatter, but she couldn’t stop doing it. Her solution? It started out as forcing herself to throw up afterwards, and slowly graduated to laxatives she bought at the store.

After Belle turned 17, her best friend Anna had finally had enough. Anna confronted Belle about the weight she had lost so drastically since the break up with Archer. She was afraid for her friend. Belle refused to admit what she had been doing, and instead distanced herself from Anna.

As she and Anna grew apart, Belle began to spend time with other friends, friends that her family didn’t approve of. Belle began to go out to parties, drinking underage, flirting with men… and going farther. She found that when she knew men wanted her, she felt better- even if just for a little while.

Several months later, Anna went to Belle’s parents. Belton and Jeslyn had also been worrying about their daughter, and together, the three of them discovered the truth about Belle’s weight loss and behavior. Now, just as Belle has turned 18, her parents have ‘forced’ her to see a psychiatrist, and in the process, Belle unwittingly signed an agreement to go to Cherry Hollow.

This journal is completely fictious, as is Jezebel Jules. It's all part of my vivid imagination. I have no connection to Anne Hathaway, I merely use her image for this character. Jezebel Jules is a patient at amplified_rpg.
